Video games have made the leap to the screen in a big way, and we're celebrating the genre with a closer look at more than 50 video game adaptations into movies and shows.. Clive Standen will be reprising his voice role of Demetrius Titus, the main character in the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game.. Referenced in Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). As a longtime fan of Tim Miller's other show, Love Death + Robots, I was really excited for this.Then I started to notice that not a lot of the stories could keep my attention for too long. They would just end right before something interesting happens.I think the show would benefit from focusing more on concepts and ideas from the games it is adapting rather than just showcasing how groundbreaking and revolutionary these games are that you could be playing rather than watching the show .I liked LDR because it used the short time it had to give amazing worldbuilding and characters you can get attached to, but the episodes here barely do that.Otherwise, the animation is spectacular and a great voice cast. I want to wait for the full set to come out before getting to set on my opinion.
