Carag, a wild-raised shape-shifting cougar, joins Clearwater High, the Woodwalkers’ school. He and his friends Holly (a squirrel) and Brandon (a bison) navigate the mysteries and dangers of the Woodwalker world. It’s okay – nothing special, but it’s very similar to the book. But the actors weren’t that good, the animation was disappointing, and the music wasn’t up to par. I wouldn’t watch it again, but it’s a good movie for young children (and the books are better than the movie). So: a good movie for kids (but really, it’s a clear-cut children’s book series and a children’s movie), kids don’t really pay much attention to the acting, music, and animation, so they’ll like it (trust me). I just recommend reading the book (or all of it) before watching the movie, because not everything was really explained, and what was explained wasn’t always explained well.
